Stance on AI in FearlessCMS

WordPress just released a new version with AI connectors integrated. This is an interesting decision, especially coming after many people spoke out against Microsoft's choice to put AI in everything. Many people simply don't want it.

These days, I'm mostly in touch with everyday people, not business executives and CEOs. So I feel like I have a decent sense of what most people want — and don't want. Some people enjoy using AI, but they don't want it in everything. I include myself in that camp.

I use AI to help write code. That's no secret. But what I don't want to do is force AI on people who never asked for it.

That said, as a freelancer who is working to bring in new clients, I understand that many business people and executives do want AI integration. I get it.

This is why I have deliberately chosen NOT to integrate AI into the core of FearlessCMS, and that will not change. FearlessCMS is a CMS for everyone. However, I am developing an AI connector plugin, and I will be releasing its source code soon. I am currently testing it with 0.1.2 beta, and it should be available by the time FearlessCMS 0.1.3 beta drops.

FearlessCMS is built on the belief that you should have control over your own tools. AI has its place — but that place should be your choice, not mine. If you want it, the plugin will be there. If you don't, the core experience stays clean. That's the philosophy, and it isn't going anywhere.
